Diet drama

Lovely Rex bunny Laurel, has been on a weight loss regime since she came to us as she was obese and it was causing her some health issues.

Finally she's almost lost enough weight to be spayed, which is good as she's just been reserved.

Mixed emotions

Yesterday was a bit of a sad day as little Flutter went off to be spayed, this is probably the last photo we will have of the three sister buns together.

She'll soon be meeting her new  husbun and providing bonding goes well she'll be off to her forever home.

Folly and Flair having a viewing booked for this weekend too.

Sunny days

Most of the rescue bunnies are enjoying the better weather, some are even taking long siestas in the sun.

Number of rabbits that gave me heart failure as I thought they were dead, when they were really just asleep, 3.
Number of disgruntled bunnies following them receiving a poke to check they were still alive, 3.
Extra treats given, I lost count.

Little Clouds

Zabi's babies are four weeks old now and have been out and about exploring.

They're so adorably fluffy they look like little tiny clouds.

Spring forward

Albion was excited when he got his parsley an hour early this morning.

Anthem was less thrilled when we explained dinner would be an hour late.

whilst I can tell them apart, sometimes I really struggle to tell which of the black pop star sisters is which.

Super smooshy lop day

Klaus really is gorgeous, he's a super smooshy lop, he's very calm and he enjoys attention too.

He's already got a bit of a fan club at the rescue but what he would really like is a wifebun and a family who will appreciate his smooshy gorgeousness.

Zabi's four little babies are starting to open their eyes. They're 3 weeks old today!
Our senior animal care assistant, Jade has picked their names, Groot, Quill, Gamora and Drax.

Thursday Flashback

We got babies!

In all the excitement I forgot to mention that the lovely Zabi gave birth last Saturday to four beautiful babies.

Hoppy Homings

We've been busy homing lots of bunnies recently, today is rather special for me as foster bunnies Rodney & Apple Blossom and also Fury, who has a wife now named Lettuce are going to their new homes.

I'll miss them all (although I'm sure my skirting boards and carpets will appreciate a break from Furys    teeths), but at the same time I'm so very happy they've finally found their forever homes.

Seeing double

Fella & Forest gave always been identical & the only we we've previously been able to tell them apart is by their characters.
Forest however is living up to his name and going a beautiful brown colour which makes the task of telling them apart much easier.

Boomerang Bunny

The lovely Elsie, returned to the rescue on Saturday, she had a brief stay at The Warren Bunny Boarding as Anna has been helping bond some of our single bunnies.

It turns out she's not very appreciative of the company of other bunnies and makes her feelings known very clearly.

She'll be having a trip to the vets shortly to establish if there is a physical reason for her hormonal behaviour.

Spring Solstice

Hello, BHV here.

You wouldn't guess it from looking at the state of the decorating in my house, but I don't like leaving things unfinished. Reading the post about Lindor Thursday, I noticed looking at an old post of his butt that I never followed up with a post of his partner Solstice as I promised.

Looking back, it turns out I only have a few photos with her in so it is not entirely surprising, but regardless I have been summoned back to BETT to make up for it today. So here you are, a random post of Solstice.
