The Ref

"So what you are saying is: hay, grass, carrots, greens, broccoli and parsley ALL grow readily here in the UK, even our sprouts, it turns out, are not actually FROM Brussels, and yet you STILL want to know if I have an opinion on the referendum? What do you think?!"

Jessie In For Surgery

Poor Jessie had an overnight stay at the vets last night. When she originally came in to the Rescue she had dental problems and jaw abscesses which were dealt with, but unfortunately her problems have come back. She is scheduled for molar extractions and abscess removal today, so if you are reading this early on Friday please wish her a successful surgery and speedy recovery!

Be strong Jessie, we will see you later for healing nose-rubs!

Vegetable Liberation

"A human approaches
He holds snacks a plenty,
In seconds he'll leave
With a bucket that's empty.
We'll trip him and take
All the food we we can eat,
We'll scoff it before
He gets back on his feet.
Then tonight when it's dinner
All sweetness and light,
Be the cutest buns ever
He'll squee with delight.
Appear to him gentle
His small fluffy friends,
All prepped for tomorrow
When we do it all again!"

Angus and Jessie

Angus is regularly featured on this blog because he's just so adorable and photogenic. In case you were wondering why there's so many pictures of him on his own, considering he was bonded with his partner Jessie only a few weeks after he arrived, below is the best picture I've managed to get so far of the two of them together.

Any questions?

"I've got one question - since I'm still here, do I get both those treats you promised us for this picture?"
