Chompy McChomperson

I spoke too soon. While trying to ascertain how recent a small wound on his head was, Rocket decided he'd had enough, leapt into the air and latched onto my arm. Which just goes to show, whatever you are doing with him you should never take your eye off the ball. Or his teeth.

"Now let that be a lesson - next time my weight-gain snacky-mix comes WITH breakfast, not after!"

  1. Poor Rocket. Did you have to go medieval on a fool? Sometimes you just gotta, baby boy.

  4. Rocket in all of us. Thank you for taking care of him. I look upon him as kind of a soul mate. I am sorry you got bitten and hope arm and feelings are doing okay. A beloved and most honoured Professor of mine once explained to his class,"If you come to my house, you have to accept that Scoobie is going to bite you.." We have a bunny that we have worked really hard with and who is wonderful in every way, but we still see him seem to be asking himself, "I am still supposed to bite you aren't I? That is/was the way I did things." Anyway, take care and please continue to take care of Rocket. Brandi and Speedy, as always, make good sense, and mornings are hard with all the dream luggage pretty close at hand. You and Rocket have a good cup of coffee or maybe wait until after tea time.

  5. I wonder if relaxation inducing herbs would be a good idea for him? Valerian, chamomile?

  6. Brandi, I have always appreciated your focus on the bunn, but I am the one who is going to go get the chamomile tea. Monday is my big day at the shelter. I can't move, but I am so happy.
