Life is a rollercoaster

The last two weeks have been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for all of those involved in the rescue.
As well as having to make the sad decision to have Sprat euthanised, we also found one of the three wildie siblings, Pea collapsed and struggling to breathe and lost Christina following a tragic accident.

Our hearts break each and every time we have to say good bye to one of our little fury friends even know we are making the decision upon veterinary advice in the best interests of each rabbit it doesn't hurt any less.

We also sadly had to say goodbye to cheeky sponsor bunny, Moll as her respiratory illness worsened and her quality of life was severely compromised.

Zion, Laurel, Citroen all found new partners and forever homes along with Sea Pearl and Ruby Red who have gone to be house rabbits and Latte and Piccolo who have finally found a spacious forever home in the country after being returned to us earlier this year.

Black Friday

whilst I can tell them apart, sometimes I really struggle to tell which of the black pop star sisters is which.

Kylie or Christina?

 Christina? Or maybe Kylie?

Brush Up, Brush Down

"I don't know what you think you are doing with that brush, but I have some suggestions that don't involve it coming anywhere near me or my sisters..."

The Good...

Oh, that's a lovely photograph of you Christina! Usually you and your sisters come out as big black blobs. Now, if you could just see your way to nomming those strands of grass, I think the next one will be perfect...

No Dummy

I am fortunate enough not to have had to do medicines recently without one of the more experienced medicators somewhere on site for advice and to help with the odd tricky one. For me, 'tricky' includes figuring out which sister is which in the popstar trio. Now clearly, the one that runs away when they see you approaching holding a syringe is a good bet, but maybe she's finally realised the folly of this strategy because...

"Ha ha, how you gonna tell now?! See, my ability to fool you is almost as great as my...ventriloquism. Er...she said that."

Single Ladies

"Like our namesakes, my sisters and I sing all the time... just in our case, people pay us to stop."

Short Ears, Big Danger

To stay safe in this world, it is advisable to always remain aware of ones surroundings. One shouldn't go wandering down alleyways or back oneself into a corner with no chance of retreat. There could be untold dangers lurking nearby.

And one should never forget that, sometimes, the chances of escape end promptly with the opening of a bag of parsley.
