The Green Gobbling

"Of course, Dutch rabbits actually originated from England. Let me show you what England looks like by first chomping this leaf of greens into its shape. Then I'll show you how big this Rescue is in comparison to the whole country..."

  1. Dutchie in the snow with that lovely green...a very artsy photo there! And I did not know that dutch rabbits were originated in England.

  2. I should point out that Melodica gets all her information from Wikipedia, which may well not be accurate! According to the Rabbitlopaedia, the Dutch is descended from the Brabancon Dwarf which was being brought into the UK from Ostend in large numbers at the end of the 19th century, then (if I am reading it correctly) implies that English breeders turned it into the Dutch. So there you go.
