Let us relish and be grateful for the good things in life. About 100 years ago I was in a class as our professor quoted a line of poetry from an illustrious Persian poet (Sa'di? or Hafez?). The line was "Whatever Paradise is, it isn't the rose gardens of Shiraz." And, of course, we all looked back stupidly. After a long sigh, he said "It means enjoy this time, enjoy today, enjoy what you have before you now." As I have lived longer and learned, I have come to the conclusion that Paradise may well be watching bunnies eat their broccoli. In any case, it is worth enjoying in time and in eternity.
aww that is how you show your love of veg!xx Rachel
