Reacting Dappily

What's on Dappy's mind? Is he merely asking that we 'insert snacks here' or is this a reaction to the human's pre-coffee Monday morning face?

    Thematic consistency would incline one to go with the snacks interpretation. I, personally, suspect Dappy was waiting for snacks, but was blind-sided by what he suddenly saw approaching him.
