Chomped Again

So it turns out, Dean usually has his medicines given to him *in* his aviary. He tried to explain this to me quite enthusiastically, through the medium of chomping, while I was carrying him out. Quite frankly, I would have much preferred if he had waited until I put him down and explained it through the medium of dance. He was so grumpy, I got this look and a rejection of his post-medicine consolation snack.

Sorry Dean, I'll know for next time!

    1. I think I was carrying the whole medicine caddy and figured it was easier carrying one out to it than traipsing thru the neighbouring aviary to get to Dean trying not to trip over bunnies and drop medicines on their head. But yeah, you're right, I ghouls have just taken the drops out and carried them in!

    2. There's some weird auto-correcting thing and missing words I swear I typed going on in my last comment...!

  2. Well, you often hear that every individual has his or her own learning style. A conscientious teacher just waits for those perfect teachable moments.

    1. And lest I forget, he chomped hard enough that I would carry that painful chomp injury for several weeks after! (In truth, this incident was in fact several weeks ago, so I can attest to that)

    2. Was that the same day that Mallow got a taste of you as well?

    3. I don't remember Mallow ever chomping me but that doesn't mean it never happened! Can't have been that bad if he did. He's chomped a bunch of other volunteers, he properly bit Caroline on a number of occasions, possibly the worst shouting and swearing I've ever heard from her (and that's saying something!). Today he aggressively and repeatedly head butted me while Ali was trying to do his health checks!

    4. You said he bit you when you tried to medicate Cuba?

    5. I don't think that was me, not that I remember anyway, though Amy mentioned that one of the volunteers had been attacked by him when trying to medicate her.

    6. Ah, yes, well best to forgive and forget.

  3. I confess it was me, he chomped, later I invested in some fluffy three quarter length anti-chomp boots to prevent ankle attacks.
Also why did he always find the softest bit of skin to chomp on....
It was like he had homing teeth!
