One morning, I arrived at the Rescue early to get some more work done. The downside of doing this is that every bunny thinks that breakfast time has arrived and they put on their sweetest behaviour.
"Well hello, I'll have the carrots with a side order of broccoli served on a plate made of your finest cabbage. And have I ever told you how much I love you?"
In the case of little darling Mr Burny Whiskers, I caught the moment he finally realised I had a broom and not the coveted snack barrow.
Oh dear poor baby,I'm sure you made up for it later,Happy New Year to you all,xx Rachel and Speedy
ReplyDeleteLet's hope she did, Rachel. BW appears to be expressing serious doubts about the new year - Going to be one of those, is it? I will make you pay. First, I will garner sympathy on the web, then . . . well, then you will be sorry.
DeleteI threw him what I had on me- a handful of hay. Unfortunately that backfired because they usually receive a handful of hay with their evening pellets, so he was running around in circles trying to figure out where they were.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty amazing . . . so now some emergency pellet packs will be stashed in the pocket with the emergency hay? This is really sort of sad. I hope you went immediately to the pellet place and got him some or maybe offered serious head rubs while you sang, "Tell me that you want the kind of things that money just can't buy . . ." no, no, he definitely needed his pellets.
