Eyes Tight Shut

Did you know that rabbits sleep with their eyes partially open to spot approaching predators? (Or annoying humans wanting to photograph or cuddle them while they are asleep!) Or at least, you know, they can do…

  1. Dear B-HV, I think you didn't let Brandi's prophetic insight soak in.

  2. Sleepy time is sneaky snorgle attack time.

  3. Brandi, I am sure B-HV would not approve of that kind of behaviour. Remember when I talked about taking advantage of the bunns? Well, it just isn't a good thing. There are unintended consequences. In this case probably bunny sleep disorders.

  4. For the record, neither I nor that big fluffy lump in the picture approve of sneaky-sleepy-snorgle attacks. Einstein is a big softy, you can sit with him and stroke that fluffy head for hours, he'll flop on you and love the attention BUT you do NOT mess with him. The first sign of any silliness that he doesn't approve of and BAM you've got a huge grumpy growling monster of a bun lunging straight at your stupid self showing you who's the real boss. Respect the bun, people. Respect the bun.

    1. Yes, well, I have on occasion, when he's looking all fluffy and cute, dared to attempt a photograph on entering his run only to be greeted with a growly lunge for daring to do set foot in his territory without first offering up snacks or nose-rubs. I considered myself well and truly told. And about 5 pieces of parsley lighter.
